I'm with Matthew, I don't know most of the songs on your iPod! However, I am willing to challenge you on randomness!

I opened iTunes, hit shuffle, and this is what came up:

Battle Flag - Pigeonhed
Ice Fishing -Jeff Foxworthy (Blue Collar Comedy Tour)
ABC - Jackson 5
Some Enchanted Evening - Colm Wilkinson
The Dance - Garth Brooks
Movin' Out - Billy Joel
I Go To Rio - Hugh Jackman (The Boy From Oz)
Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
A Heart Full of Love - Les Mis
Cell Block Tango - Chicago
Voice Mail #4 - Rent (okay, my Broadway leanings are coming out here)
Darker Side - Jonny Lang
Christmastime is Here - Straight No Chaser
Initials - Hair
The Dirty Boogie -Brian Setzer Orchestra
Switch - Will Smith
Song on Neffertiti's Radio (My Love) - Joshua Kadison
Lumberjack Song - Monty Python
Take a Chance on Me - ABBA
I Like The Way - Bodyrockers
Mercy - Duffy
Oceano - Josh Groban
We Cry - The Script

One day I had my iPod on shuffle, and I went from Garth Brooks to Marky Mark to Ethel Merman. My head almost exploded.

I would love to see a video of Susan Boyle doing Sexyback! LOL!

I am desperately hoping that Phil only counts for PA, and somewhere in Iowa is a clueless groundhog that didn't see a darn thing this morning! I'm ready for Spring!

I only watched parts of the Grammy's, but I thought Pink's performance was amazing. How she could keep in tune while hanging upside down and spritzing water everywhere? Maybe she was lip-syncing?

I'm with Jenny, just rewatched Beyonce... vocals not good enough to be a recording. B would not allow errors in a lip-sync version of a song. Although I will say... what was with the guys? I was waiting for them to do more than look and snap occasionally.

Kurt, as I was traveling down your ipod list of songs that I never heard of before (87% of them), I smiled when I came across the likes of Slaughter and Twisted Sister. Those 2 songs couldn't be more random in that list and I've never heard ANYONE putting them on any kind of list before (except for me). Well done (except for the 87%)! Also, I too look forward to the return of Lost tonight and I haven't watched it in 4 years. Have to watch the last season for sure though I will feel cheated if Lost pulls a Favre and ends up airing a new season next year too...or the year after that..or the year after that etc.

Thanks for the info on Beyonce. I had never paid much attention to whether or not she was a lip syncer. Because, really, there are the people you KNOW aren't singing EVER and you know that it is better that way. (Britney, I'm looking at you) But Beyonce actually has a voice. Although it doesn't surprise me that she has in the past. I still am pretty confident she wasn't at the Grammy's. I still had it on DVR last night cause I had missed some stuff and I rewatched her after you said that to see what I missed. Besides the stuff I mentioned yesterday (Notes not exactly perfect, heavy breathing during the slower parts) I also noticed that if she WAS lip syncing, she did an AMAZING job of memorizing all 3,000 of the crazy vocal runs she did. She was matched up PERFECT!

I don't think I could come up with a better name for your workout mix besides RANDOM. I mean, is there anyone else with a workout mix that incorporates Lion King AND Twisted Sister? Maybe...but more likely, maybe not!

Hey! You would appreciate this... I burnt some songs on a CD for a friend a while back and I even named it The CD of Awesomeness. (this was before this blog ever existed!) and I put a warning on the CD to be careful of the awesomeness. My favorite transition on that CD was from Ice Cube's You Can Do It (Put Your Back Into It) to Celine Dion's Titanic song. It also started with the (original) Beverly Hills 90210 theme song!

I will totally participate in the Lost conversation tomorrow as well! So excited!

I'm having Casey's Breakfast Pizza right now... Jealous? HAHA

It's funny you mentioned the Swan on Bjork, we had that same conversation at work yesterday. I guess Gaga just has talent... LOL. I'm actually predicting she will dissappear at some point and come back after a year in hiding completely normal. Jake did NOT like that theory.

Workout playlist. I have one as well... it has 1665 songs in it though so I'm not going to attempt a list, but I do the same thing, half the time I end up listening to one of my podcasts. One of the ones I listen to is a comedy one, and laughing unexpectedly while doing a bench-press is not an easy (or safe) thing to do! I really should rethink this but I've been doing it for a few years and have survived. Props on the good variety in your playlist though!

Susan Boyle... Sexy Back... That would be a great video, or diet plan.

Groundhogs day is dumb. Winter go away, please! I like being able to feel my toes when I get to work and you just have not given me that pleasure for the past few months! Plus when it is nice out (or at least bearable) I don’t have to ride the D-Line, but I won’t go there.

I have never seen Lost.... but I'm tempted to buy the DVDs each time I go to Target that and Weeds for some reason they both call my name. I'm a bad shopper in the DVD section, I load up my cart with at least one DVD each time I go to the store... I need to stop grocery shopping at Target.

I bought the QAF DVD set off of Ebay last week for Jake and received it yesterday. It came from China! The name on the label said: Zhangjaikouwuzishangmao Youxiangongsi, can you imagine teaching this person how to spell their name? (I do not hate, I just think the long names in this culture are interesting! I wonder what his friends/family calls him Zhang?)

Have an AWESOME day everyone!
