The Must-Have Toy for 2009, Go Iowa…Beat the Suckeyes!
From Kurt…
The New Must-Have Toy -
So…this is the new must-have toy this year?
They’re called Zhu-Zhu Pets. I had never heard of these until 48 hours ago…my mom sent an email about them…I thought she had been hitting the sauce (again, ha ha)…but then I saw about 10 articles about them.
They’re motorized hamsters? Yes…they’re motorzied hamsters that run around a hamster “funhouse”…complete with slides, ramps, and tunnels. Hanh? Didn’t we already try this with the Furby? Was Furby motorized? I still have NO idea what a Furby was…nor do I care to know.
This had to be invented in Japan..they invent all sorts of weird stuff. The website to see more is www.zhuzhupets.com
Can’t we just buy the kids a real hamster? It seems so much easier.
And It All Comes Down to Saturday Afternoon -
Iowa’s hopes of a Rose Bowl all falls down to 2:30 Saturday afternoon on ABC. What an tremendous victory it would be for us to roll into Columbus with a backup QB, 4th string RB, and walk out with a win. If our offense can just score 20+ points, Iowa has a real good shot at winning. The Suck-eyes have a lot of weapons…but Iowa’s defense just doesn’t give up points, and that’s the name of the game.
All the TV idiots have already ruled Iowa out for this game…I think they’ll be surprised at our Hawkeye team. We weren’t supposed to win at Penn State…Michigan State…and Wisconsin…the Hawkeyes love to spoil things…let’s do it again.

Vandenberg will have struggles at times, but I think he’s really going to impress us Hawkeye fans with some great plays and well-orchestrated drives.
Let’s Go Hawks…I’m ready to book the trip to Pasadena…let’s do this.
Dancing With the Stars -
It’s amazing what a little Shawn Johnson can do….is anyone watching DWTS this year? Last season, it seemed like way too many of my friends (including myself) knew too much about DWTS…this season, not only have I not heard anything about the show, but I honestly don’t even know who’s on the show. Is Donny Osmond still on the show?
Saturday Night Live -
In an ever continuing run to try and make SNL absolutely unwatchable…apparently the idiot known as Levi Johnston is going to make a cameo on the Saturday’s show. Ugh…I’d rather watch “Leave it to Lamas”. No…no…that’s not true. Is the audience actually going to applaud Levi when he appears? Please, we shouldn’t encourage this Alaskan Redneck Idiot.
The Monster -
That awful guy that shot his girlfriend in the face…did everyone know that monster? It seems like everyone I know had an encounter with him. My buddies and I remember playing softball against him…a friend of mine remembers playing volleyball against him…and my wife even remembers working with him a long time ago. That’s creepy. It’s an awful story…he’s a monster.
2012 -
This movie looks great…pure special effect mastery…and no plot. Perfect for eating popcorn.
Brangelina -
Rumors are that Brad and Angelina are splitting up again…I really don’t care what happens to the two of them…but there’s a MAJOR reason why they can’t break up. If they do break up…every single magazine and newsgroup is going to start speculating that Brad and Jennifer Aniston are going to get back together…and it will be non-stop coverage of it. I don’t think I’m ready to handle three months of Hollywood Trash stories about this.

Funny Friday Video -
This is just a mash-up of music, and fantastic movie lines…it’s AWESOME. The rhyming in this is incredible.
Programming Note -
Things have been a bit busier in the morning during work…so the Blog will be updated a little later in the morning. Probably somewhere in the 9-9:30am range. This will also help me get a better grip of the morning, and all the Hollywood Trash stories as well.
Have a Great Weekend -
We’re hitting up El Rodeo tonight with my boss Mr. Allen and his family…we’ll get to see her daughter Hailey tonight…she has a little crush on me, hopefully Jennifer won’t get too jealous. The rest of the weekend? Non-stop football…the only game that really matters is the Iowa/Ohio State game tomorrow…but on Sunday, Jennifer will be watching the Vikings at noon…then it’s my turn with the Packers at 3…and then the Colts/Patriots game on Sunday night. Non-stop football action! Hanh!
AWESOME is as AWESOME does!

Good luck to your Hawks this weekend. Although I am not a fan per se I am a fan of anything that brings attention to our state.
We are headed to see Rent tonight and Cabaret tomorrow at Drake. Its a musical theater overload weekend for us. We should have scheduled that a little better.
Thise little hampster toys are scarry!
DWTS… I think Aaron Carter was on it too. But I haven’t watched at all this season. It seems like Shawn just won a few months ago.
We will also be celebrating this weekend a little: I took my last Associates Class yesterday.
108 weeks, broken down into 22 classes, with 17 different teachers, spending 459 hours in a classroom, writing 96 Essays and giving 45 Presentations all stored on 4 Flash drives while reading 32 textbooks that ripped through 3 backpacks, receiving 21 A’s, 1 A-, maintaining a 3.986 GPA and acquiring $20,500 in student loans… being a lifelong learner priceless. I start my BA on Thursday. I figured I better do it now before I take another break and not go back like I did after High school.
Someone has way toomuch time on their hands to put that video together, Although it is pretty Awesome!
Have a good weekend. Go Huskers! LOL
